EXECUTIVE SUMMERY

Project description - We are small group of software developers\designers that concentrates in developing virtual musical softwares for the professional digital music market. Our latest development, "Callisto", a groundbreaking virtual arranger module, opens a door to a new, yet undiscovered niche that would target millions of keyboardists at all levels and ages across the world and provide them the beloved musical experience and features they got used to expect only from an expensive and massive hardware arrangers (for instance, korg pa-800).

The problem we solve - In the current situation, when the professional hardware arrangers cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars, they are actually not available for millions of arranger fans, that may not afford it. moreover, the traditional hardware arrangers can not be upgraded and the only upgrade possibility is to buy the newest expensive (and heavy to carry) model. Our software, which is already successfully prototyped for windows platform, would provide it's customers a full arranger experience and an easily upgradeable system for a very low prices, on any popular platform (windows, Macintosh, Ipad) and would be easy to carry and use as well.

Marketing strategy - Our marketing strategy is based on very cheap yet effective internet marketing tools like facebook, youtube and popular niche sites that already proved their efficiency. In addition, we would use our relationships with known leadingcharacters from the global music industry to promote the product in worldwide ads and exhibitions.

Financial potential - Since our software targets millions of keyboardists, song writers and students across the globe and has only 1 competitor with a very basic product, we expect a demand of 25,000 copies (hard core users) at the first year and a hard demand further. Pricing would be non-aggressive (99$ for samples+synthesis based version, 119$ for "pro" version that includes some DAW abilities). Considering the fact that marketing ,advertising and operating expenses would be negligible, the financial potential is about 75-80% profit. The format also opens a door to a vast of co-operation opportunities like seeding software into hardware, expending the project to a full music production platform, making new style packs, new sound libraries and combining 3th party plug-ins.

The needed investment - Although "Callisto" is already prototyped and fully workable on windows systems, this project needs a one-time investment of 100,000$ to take it to the next level and develop a sophisticated cross-platform versions which would fit any popular known platform in the market and provide AIO solution for live jamming as well as music production. This investment will help us to hire leading programmers with musical attitude and develop the most flexible, easy to use and cheap arranger in the world.
